CAM invest in San Blas Village HotelThe 'Caja de Ahorros del Mediterr'neo', better known as CAM bank has become a thirty percent shareholder in the San Blas Hotel, currently being constructed by AQA, between Golf del Sur and los Abrigos. Sr Cruz of AQA Promotions told us, 'This level of commitment from a major Bank is rare, but reflects the degree of enthusiasm and confidence that the business sector has in the San Blas Resort.'
San Blas Village won an award at the end of last year, at the International Property Awards held in London. H'ctor Ceballos Lascurain, renowned for his creation of exotic landscapes and eco-tourism projects and a number of other experts in environmental consultancy, design and engineering have also been involved in the development since its conception. With a brief to construct an eco-resort providing a different way of enjoying Tenerife, San Blas Village is a unique project which combines a position on the ocean front with a million square metres incorporating a nature reserve. A small number of private luxury homes and a five star Hotel form the centre piece, set around a lake. Work has started on the 384 room hotel, which is due for completion in Summer 2007. Preparation of the nature reserve is also underway to make it safe for visitors. Certain areas will be dedicated to sports and outdoor pursuits. Villas in phase 1 of the residential part of the development are almost complete. Work is well progressed on phase 2 and the final stage is planned to coincide with the completion of the hotel. Villas are available for sale through Tenerife Property Shop. Due to levels of demand, the villas will experience a price rise in the future, so the early birds will get the best value for money. Mary Spencer, of Tenerife Property Shop commented, 'The concept of the San Blas Resort has been difficult to grasp, for some people. Now that the pieces of the jigsaw are coming together, it will be easier to visualise the end result. We are already seeing an upsurge in interested buyers of the villas, and this is set to accelerate as the project continues.' |
